In this lesson, Shawn Myers discusses the concept of creating an offer that monetizes. An offer that monetizes consists of three components: something that someone wants, something that sounds appealing, and something that contains everything they need to be happy in a particular niche. The first component is to differentiate what appeals to the right individuals, rather than trying to market the offer to everyone. The second component is to create a unique, intangible training system that can be used to create any offer, including training programs, video series, email campaigns, marketing campaigns, and selling campaigns. The third component is to make the entire package sound appealing, addressing the reasons why an adult wants to learn to swim, such as preventing accidental drowning or avoiding embarrassing situations. The fourth component is to include everything the person needs to be happy, as this can be redundant in the next lesson. By understanding these components, one can create an offer that resonates with their target audience and ultimately leads to increased sales.
